Member Requirements

  • Professional-degree student (PhD, JD, MBA, PharmD, MD, VMD) or postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison

  • Interest in applying their knowledge in new ways

  • Willing to learn

Application Process

Part 1: Online Application (Required for all prospective members)

  • Fill out a member application.

  • Our Director of Human Resources will reach out to you to confirm your application has been received.

  • Sign the non-disclosure agreement and a liability waiver

At this stage, applicants are now members and will be added to the newsletter and sent consultant training materials.

Part 2: Orientation Packet (Required for all prospective consultants)

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Read and watch our core curriculum training materials which include general business knowledge, the lean start-up method, and supplemental training to assist with further projects.

  • Take our online quiz to test understanding of the core curriculum. You must obtain a perfect score and submit it to the provided link.

Part 3: Case Study (Required for all prospective consultants)

  • After completing the core curriculum quiz, our Director of Human Resources will assist you in setting up a Forage account to participate in an online case study.

Part 4: Interview (Required for all prospective consultants)

  • After submitting the Forage case study completion verification, you should be contacted by our Director of Human Resources to schedule a 30 -minute interview.
